Located on board a converted barge on Red Brook Harbor in Cataumet, MA, inside the Kingman Yacht Center, the Chart Room has long become a summer tradition for many. Some come for the breathtaking sunsets, freshly prepared entrees, and live, nightly entertainment at the piano bar. Others come to enjoy a beverage with friends on "the lawn" while savoring the friendly, casual atmosphere.
We utilize the freshest ingredients for all of our dishes, and prepare them to order every single day. It is our mission to provide the Cape Cod area with a place where they can come to enjoy a delicious meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, all at a great price. From fresh seafood to sandwiches and salad, we have something for everyone.
The Chart Room offers indoor seating, as well as seating on our covered porch. Hot lunches are served from 11:30 am – 3:00 pm daily, and dinners are prepared from 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm. Sandwiches, appetizers, cold plates, and desserts may be ordered throughout the day (11:30 am–10:00 pm).
As a seasonal restaurant, the Chart Room opens for weekends (Thursday-Sunday) in mid-May and full time beginning in mid-June. Weekend schedule resumes after Labor Day and the Chart Room closes for the season on Columbus Day. Reservations are not accepted at lunch time, but are strongly recommended for dinner time, regardless of the night of the week. They are especially encouraged Thursday night through Saturday night.
Please note: Even with reservations, depending on the day of the week, the clientele, and the traffic coming over the bridges; there still may be a wait and we encourage you to enjoy one or two of your favorite beverages while taking in the sunset prior to being seated.
